Iwasaki spend undergraduate / master course at Keio University. In this summer, a student (Keio SFC Mr.Nakai) came to Iwasaki Group as an intern (8 / 21-9 / 3). It took only two weeks, but he learned about proteome experiments and data analysis. It was fun to be able to do research together with motivated students, thinking back to what I was when I was in the third year of an undergraduate school (was not so polite). The evening sky on the day of the intern farewell party was very beautiful.

During the internship period (8/27), bonito-san who is working as a PI at Albert Einstein Medical University in the United States came to CiRA. Bonito-san is a respectful friend when I was a student. The lifeline of the doctoral course is whether it will be adopted as a research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. When I was in the second year of master’s course, I was preparing for the presentation the day before of the interview. At that time, Bonito-san appeared suddenly and gave me the advice about the contents of the presentation. Probably I wouldn’t have been accepted without his advice. I want to grow up a little more next time.
