The Iwasaki Laboratory for 2025 will begin tomorrow.

Last year I gave 14 lectures a year and traveled too much, so I was exhausted at the end of the year.
This year I will try to reduce my lectures and business trips.
Instead, I will devote my time to managing the laboratory, carrying out interesting research, obtaining research funding, writing papers and studying.

Three Iwasaki Lab events last year.

1. JSPS DC1 by Dr Nishimura, a PhD student.
(I’m really happy. Since there is only one student in the Iwasaki Lab, we have a 100% DC rate).

2. Appointment to the Board of Directors of the International Proteome Society (probably the youngest)
(I’m scared because I don’t know what kind of job I have to do, but I’m going to enjoy doing it.)

3. Accept of DIA-DDA paper
(I’m glad I got the job done right…)

This year I want to concentrate on getting my AMED-PRIME research into a academic paper.

Also, last year I paid too much attention to the people around me, so this year I will do what I want to do without worrying.
And I would be happy if I could get a big research grant.

We are always looking for students and researchers, so if anyone is interested, please get in touch.
